Spring 2011 Math 4B

1. In math I’m good with graphs and plots. They are my favorite and I really enjoy to work with them.

 

1. In math I am not good at all with percentages. I am not confident with them at all. I would like to be confident with them.

      Do you like or enjoy math? Why or why not?  I do enjoy math a lot once I    understand it. I like whatever I understand in Math.

2. Do you think math is easy or hard for you? Why? Math is not easy for me. I really need a lot of practice with it. It stresses me out when I don’t understand it.
3. What would you like to learn in math? I would like to learn percentages. A little bit of everything, I guess just a review of everything.
4. My best math teacher was good because she took the time and gave me a lot of examples. She was very patient with me. She never put me on the spot. Even though she noticed sometimes I didn’t pay attention at times, she still helped me.
5. My worst math teacher was bad because she always would put me on the spot. I was in 6th grade. I wouldn’t even want to go to school because I had math with her. She would go too fast.

1. I think this equation of a line is very important. I see it as an specific communication.  It is important in the real world because many jobs use it in graphs to show an exact point where things are.
